I've found that if you threaten that you're cancelling your service and going to a different company they will usually fold pretty quick and offer you 'new customer' pricing.
At least that's my interactions with comcast. I call at the end of every pricing deal and just quote the price of a competitor and 30 minutes later it's figured out.
