I'm confident Galaxy 2 will defeat Witcher 3, simply because of the Nintendo fanbase on this site. It'll take twice the number of outsiders to match registered users votes; and i expect the majority of those will be going for Mario.

voting for nintendo in a close match isn't a bad idea, i just don't think SMG2 - witcher 3 will be that close.
just because this is nintendofaqs doesn't mean you have to pick nintendo in every single match. mario kart 8 isn't going to beat skyrim.

PC/PS4/Xbox fans like to shit on each other games, they dont have the loyalty of Nintendo fans.
Thats why BOTW wins.
Half of PS4 fans hate Witcher because it destroyed Bloodborne.
Half of PC hates Witcher and i dont know why tbh.
Xbox fans are just divided by nature.
Skyrim fans still salty to this day because Witcher 3 dethroned their game and made it look not the masterpiece it was once. dont believe me? just check any Youtune comparison video, go to steam read reviews and check comments made my Skyrim fans, its there. I even noticed it on this forum, most Skyrim fans try to find any reason to dislike the game.
May sound like im fanboying right now, but im just telling you what are the odds against the Witcher, so dont expect it to sweep like it usually does, dont underestimate those reasons, Super Mario Galaxy 2 doesnt suffer from any of this.

I dunno. Mario kart is incredibly popular and far more people are playing that than Skyrim currently since it has an active multiplayer. If it was seven then I would say it'd be easier for Skyrim to possibly win.

The Nintendo fanbase has always been relevant
The galaxy games have been Mediocre in every contest/poll thy've been in.
Witcher 3 is one of the most popular games this gen. Probably 2nd most popular game this gen behind BOTW.

I definitely have both making it to their match up but I can't recall if I picked one over the other. I think I may have went with botw just because link is one of the most popular characters on this site.

BOTW revolutionized game structure. Ultimate has more characters and faster knockback? I was even excited for the smash meter to mix things up and it's gone competitively ignored.

If Ultimate get a rally like Melee, it can probably beat BoTW.
It definitively would have the numbers (the puny Gamefaqs votes, even double, aren't very impressive) and rallies seems to have limited blowback even when SFF should be involved.

How do I know? Because I have a perfect score and I'm not in the top 50 because I didnt bother with the tie breaker because I'm bound to get some wrong.
