it doesn't help that the vanilla game is
always
worse. Civ 5 vanilla was inferior to Civ 4 but after BNW was better. Civ 5 is better than Civ 6 vanilla but i don't know how it is with the expansions yet, especially as it's getting yet
another
bunch of DLC. i'm sure by the time it's done Civ 6 will be better too, if not already there.
