box-and-one plus uncalled fouls. celtics took a ton of open shots as a result of that defense. they also committed a lot of turnovers.

kemba does need to be better, but it's not a coincidence that so many others took a bunch of shots.

Siakam has also been horrible, but has played good D to salvage it. 12 points in 50+ minutes is not it.

I got lucky the game ended when it did because immediately after I experienced multiple hours of thunder/lightning hitting so close to me that the power went off, the entire house was shaking, and it being amongst the loudest things I've ever heard, so yeah.

so revisiting my picks, i had lakers in 6 over HOU (looks like it'll be 5, but could still be 6) and clips in 5 over DEN (could still be 5, probably 6 max)

i had celtics in 7 so i just have to ride it out with maximum clenching

looking ahead, i have LAL in 6 over the clippers. with playoff rondo showing up i think that's a very reasonable call.

I don't see how anyone would pick against LAL this year. Anthony Davis is insanely good. That said, the eastern teams with good defenses could be a problem for them, as their offense isn't super dynamic. That said, LA is going to get all the important calls.

kawhi can be slowed down more effectively than lebron. i'd love to see lebron run out of gas but it doesn't seem like it's happening, and rondo has bringing it hard. and yeah, no one on the clips can match up with davis.
