Which is better?

I'm tired of sleeping on a standard twin sized mattress. I'd like to upgrade to a larger size. I'm trying to decide between a twin XL, which would solve the problem I'm having (feet hanging over the edge), and a queen, which would do that plus give me more space to spread out on.

What's everyone's opinion on the subject? Should I get a pragmatic twin XL or a larger (potentially more comfortable) queen?

I'm just jealous of people who can solve their feet-hanging-off-edge problem with a TwinXL/Queen instead of a Cal King like I have to.

I have a queen and I absolutely wish we had a king or cal king but our bedroom layout is shit and wouldn't accommodate it. Between the missus sleeping in the middle of the bed and the cats there's just no space for me

if alone, a twin is good enough.
if with another person, a queen is ideal.
if you're both fat, king.

I've been on the precipice of upgrading to a King but my room might be a bit too small for it.

completely up to you and your situation. i think queens are awesome, but if you have to be at all economical with your square footage (as i do) the XL is fine
You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.

Why not a Full XL if you're worried about the extra space taken up by the Queen?

kings are way too big. I had one for a few years and recently downgraded. I guess it's nice if you're a picky sleeper but they're a pain to move.
