Well yes, this year there were logical reasons why no one saw any of the nominees. I don't begrudge the public for not going to see any of them. I was talking about the decline of Oscar-nominated movies in general in my previous post.Yeah, this year's a weird example in every way, but even in past years it was mostly the same, where 80% of the nominees are released within the last month or two of their availability, and often only as limited releases.
