Looking at the standings at the end of the regular season and trying to figure out what's a better example of this run, the 2006 Oilers or the 1991 Minnesota North Stars.
Though we're not at the finals yet so either example doesn't really work and as discussed earlier, they play the winner of Vegas/Colorado... gonna be tough. 7 game winning streak though!
I expected Montreal to get stomped by Toronto and they won. I expected them to get stomped by Winnipeg and they won. I'm expecting them to get stomped by Vegas and they're two wins away from making the Stanley Cup finals where I would
still
expect them to get stomped by likely Tampa Bay. So I have no idea with this team!
