I mean, isn't Ric Flair the same deal? I'm pretty sure his total reigns is arguably 18 or more. Maybe they REALLY want Charlotte's accolades to be consistent with her father's legacy!

(Also, I think they legitimately want to get this out of the way as quickly as possible given that she's in her mid 30s now and they may be worried that she will try to start having kids sooner or later.)

Charlotte (along with Rhea) was given a title shot at Summerslam, and then Charlotte beat Nikki in a non-title match to earn another title shot next week.

Been following AEW a lot more since Double or Nothing, but man Darby is like the perfect successor to both Sting and Punk in so many ways its actually funny.

Its just the perfect mix of talent that I liked a lot in WWE (Moxley, Pac, Andrade to name a few) and a ton of young talent I enjoy (Jungle Boy, Sammy, Darby). Not to mention the Elite. Really brought me from being way more casual to more invested.
