Would the show just be objectively better if they cut "Pietro" entirely?

What even WAS the point of the Pietro character? What did he do to further the show in any way??? Anyone?

It was just a few weeks ago at this point that I finally watched the show for the first time and I honestly kinda forgot "Pietro" was even a thing.

It was all part of Agatha's plan to emotionally weaken Wanda to the point of tempting her to give up her power. She created Pietro to confuse Wanda and give her grief. Plus, it helped drive home the fact that Wanda's world wasn't real - even in classic sitcoms, dead family members don't just come back to life out of nowhere. (Except Dallas)

It also showed how disconnected Wanda had gotten from reality that she didn't even recognize it wasn't her Pietro.

also he was great, the show definitely wouldn't be better off without him

still utterly hate it and would rather them not bother

but i will say he was an entertaining dude while he was there, before revealing the bohner

It was worth it for the end where Wanda put a ward around the whole town though

I do agree that the finale ought to have been a little less standard MCU beat-em-up but I did like that resolution

Absolutely worth it just for the cliffhanger when he appeared, even if it ended up not really going anywhere

That was the peak of the show, really

cutting "pietro" leads to other problems. at least he gave monica something to do in the finale (who was also pointless and only shoehorned into the show to set up the marvels, btw).

good show but i do feel like there were too many plot threads that really didn't add much to the story.

Yes, this. He was cool and had a reason to exist, I wouldn't have cut him.

The show would've been much improved if we never saw outside of Westview imo. Every one of those scenes dragged the whole thing down.
