Places accept different things, but you're always good with a military id or your dd-214. Some will take a picture of you in uniform.

For me, I went through all the paperwork hassle so my driver's license has my veteran status right on it. Just to make this one day a year as efficient as possible.

i'd be surprised if there wasn't SOMEPLACE you could apply for a replacement card, no matter how long ago you served

I mean, you won't get it in time for this year, but for the future

The VA would be able to help for sure. I don't know how much you can do through the website, but if they could get to an actual building it would be p easy I think.

Sadly I'm going to spend a lot of the day working so I'm going to miss the peak 11-2 giveaways. But I am going to try and fit like a full day of food between like 5 and 8 tonight.

Hit up the IKEA for dem meatballs and two Dunkin's on the way home and calling it a night. Not the most productive year, but I think I maximized my time. Ravens game made places stupid busier than usual too so I'm good with my haul and have food for at least the weekend now.
