I've never seen any upside out of random dipshits setting off minor fireworks in their driveway. Professional shows? Sure. They're awesome. But neighborhood idiots are just a nuisance. Especially because invariably they get the ones that are all noise and no visuals.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
