TV Antenna question

I'm not sure where else to ask, so I might as well ask here.

Long story short, I discovered that all of the TV interference I was getting was because the antenna came loose from the RF input. It seems like there's a way to screw it on, but it doesn't seem to want to get snug. Are there any recommendations on keeping it in place?

Taping it in place?

I wonder if something that simple would work. I'll look into it; Scotch tape isn't going to cut it, so I'll need to buy something more effective.
