All right, I've been looking forward to this!

And I actually kept track of my score this time:

Round 1 - 3.5 points Got DOA XBV (also from your hint, of course) and DDR, half points for Splatoon, Zelda and River City Girls.

Round 2 - 7.5 points From the first set, half points on KH and Kirby, plus the theme of Winter/Snow themes. From the second, half points on Metroid and the full point on OoT. From the third, just Super Mario RPG. Missed all on the fourth. From the fifth, just Shadow.

Bonus Round 1 - 2 points Got Zero Wing. I was really kicking myself for not getting that Senran Kagura one, though.

Round 3 - 16 points 1. Guessed Final Boss, didn't know the game. 2. Guessed Battle, and Metroid series. 3. Missed 4. Guessed Battle, and Lunar series (couldn't remember if it was 1 or 2) 5. Guessed Boss 6. Boss Battle, Bravely Default 7. Missed 8. Guessed Final Boss, didn't know the game 9. Missed 10. Figured JSR series after the hint, but didn't know what type of theme it was, so gave myself no points.

Round 4 - 6 points Knew the Magus and Oak quotes.

Round 5 - 6 points Full points on Link's Awakening - Tal Tal Heights, one point for Octopath Traveler

Bonus Round 2 - 7 points Got DuckTales of Phantasia.

Total - 48 points. Not bad, I guess.

Anyway, great show once again. I was dying during the quotes round. And of course, it was great to see a close match in this one rather than a total stomp like the first three. Can't wait for season 2!

Truly hilarious, and yes Az DM'd me a bunch of suggestions which I took a couple of and I'm very grateful for. But man this was the funniest thing to read.

Thanks to everyone who played, this one was obviously much more difficult than rounds prior since it was the championship round. I'm incredibly happy about how close it ended up being.

I sent those months ago. I didn't remember them. And this assumes I would recognize the tracks used. I probably should have gotten the third one, but there was no way I'd know the specific game in the back half of the second.

Excited to hear how you guys do. Video itself kinda flopped after the momentum I had probably because I was too slow to get it out there, but scheduling with 4 people is difficult.

I know Ridley's theme but didn't guess a specific game in case it was Smash, +1 Shadow. I spent a while trying to remember if Advance Wars ever had an assist trophy in Smash in case that was the theme lol. Lol'd at the ultimate life form guess, a good attempt!
I really like the theme round, it's probably a lot of work to organise but it's so satisfying when you can piece them together (or even when you can't).
Round 3, 2 pts: The Wind Can Be Still from Stardew, I love this song! I submitted this for the last BOST contest on the board.

Will do the rest tomorrow, but this is a fun time as always.

R3: +6 (+4 Final boss Revengeance, -2 guessed boss of Metroid Prime smh, +4 Final boss SMG2. Disappointed I missed Flood!)
R4: +8 (Oak lmao, The Boss, Balthier, -1 I also guessed Sylvando. I guess I should play Nier that was a fun quote)
R5: +1.5 (Three Houses neutralised by wrong track, got series for pokemon and game for LA)
R6: 0 but I love the gimmick of this round

Round 1: Got Paper Mario: TTYD, should've gotten Sonic Frontiers, but otherwise, these all came from games I've never played.

Round 2: Got Kingdom Hearts III, recognized the Kirby and Paper Mario ones but couldn't place them, didn't realize the Under the Apple Tree remix was in BBS so I made the same mistake lawl, knew it was a Chocobo theme but didn't know which game it came from, recognized the FFIV boss theme but wasn't sure if it was the SMRPG version (since I know it plays against Culex), recognized the Metroid game but didn't know which one

Bonus Round: Didn't know any of these.

Round 3: Got Super Mario Galaxy 2's final boss theme. That was the only one I knew.

Round 4: Got Magus from Chrono Trigger, I would've guessed the one quote was from a Zelda game but I'd have never guessed who actually said it, got The Boss from MGS3, got Balthier from FFXII, got Javik from Mass Effect 3, got Kaine from Nier

Round 5: Didn't know any of these.

Round 6: Didn't know any of these but that was a clutch performance for the win.
