I know the writing has been on the wall for a while, but this slow death of giant bomb still sucks to see

I find it kinda bussin, I find it kinda cap

I like the people who are still there, but its hard to see it as anything other than a sinking ship now.

It sucks. There was genuine potential before Jason and Jess got fired.

Very wierd conflicting emotions about this. I could never stand when Rorie was actually in content, but him leaving is this last shred of connection being torn down.

I feel there have been so many final nails at this point that it wont be over until its over, but barring a big turnaround it definitely seems to be on the way out. This is a real shame as following Gerstmann leaving/getting fired they had a pretty remarkable bounce back only for Fandom to completely scupper it. A lot of their best ever stuff was in the last year.

All the best to Rorie though, glad he got a new job.

Jan being sick the past week or two they've been left with no video producers and just Grubb putting it together as they go along keeping it barely going.

if we are in the final wave of Giant Bomb at least last year introduced me to Friday Night Forking which I watch religiously every week on Twitch now

and special guest from GamesBeat, Mike "Mitch" Minotti, who's on more often now than other core crew members

I find him more enjoyable than everyone else

Oh yeah this really highlights what an inane decision the layoffs were by Fandom. Lets lay off all but one of the production staff followed by production grinding to a halt the second the last remaining producer gets sick. They havent had one producer since right after the site started for a reason.
