Let's not get silly here, a Code Veronica remake would absolutely sell way less than a remake of any numbered game. It'd probably still sell
okay
but Capcom is going to want to maximize cost opportunity for their A Team, and handing the remake off to a potential B Team is what got us the RE3 Remake.
