Do those add anything over the originals? I technically havent played World 2Yoshi's Island has extra levels, and SMW tracks the Yoshi coins you collect in each level and I think adds a new set once you have them all? SMB2 might add collectibles too.
I think they add some bonus levels and the ability to play Mario Bros, but I'm still angry about it. I doubt I pay for the Expansion Pass again
Also I'm pretty sure they're deleting any negative comments on the announcement trailer for it.

They have voices and new items and stuff. Decent way to play those games again if that's what you want to do.Yes, they are absolutely fine remakes. In fact, they are the way I first experienced playing each of those games having never had an NES or SNES. But to see them added to a (so far) very minimal GBA lineup on NSO at this point is very disappointing.

SMB2 might add collectibles too.For SMW it added Dragon Coins into any levels that didnt originally have them, but when you collect them all it doesnt make a new set appear, it just visually changes them to Princess Coins. SMB2 adds a similar type of coin and then once you beat the game you can also find Yoshi eggs hidden in sub space in each level.
I understand being upset that other games you're looking forward to aren't being announced, but speaking only of the games themselves, all of the Super Mario Advance games are good remakes.
