Very excited for it. Hoping I can manage to see it in theaters. I wonder which stream service it would hit first if I fail to catch it in theaters though. Also wouldnt be surprised if come audience score time it gets bombarded somewhat by the usual triggered snowflake crowd
The only downside was that involved Gwen Stacy, who should always and forever remain dead.
Was there ever any doubt?
Marvel may be killing the Spider-Man brand in the comics, but they've been nailing it everywhere else. Kind of amazed there isn't a show/animated series to capitalize.
That said that ending DRAGGED on and on. I already knew it was going to be a two-parter, but geez it took its sweet-ass time getting to that point.
Im so very happy that I have him but having a 2 month old is really gonna make seeing this in theatres difficult which is a total bummer
ENDING SPOILER WARNING DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO GO IN BLIND
I wanted to go in as completely blind as possible so I avoided any internet buzz leading up to the screening so...I and at least a good half of my auditorium were completely caught off guard. In retrospect it makes perfect sense. I wasn't keeping track of time because I was too busy watching the stunning visuals to tear my eyes away from the screen, but I will say "the most comic book ending ever" (term coined by my husband, don't steal) camejustwhen I was starting to think a few two many plot threads were starting to fray in a manner that would be impossible to stitch back together in 15-20 minutes without completely rushing it and botching the ending.
I'm still so bloody disappointed and excited at the same time. I'm beyond hyped forBeyond the Spider-Verse, but I'd be lying if I told you I didn't feel my heart sink to the ground when the "To Be Continued" came onto the screen. It's nothing like the end of Infinity War even, and that would be the closest comparison I think. When I saw that one in theaters my auditorium was dead silent for like 3 minutes before people started buzzing about Endgame. With this one before the credits even started to roll people were in shock and asking how they could leave us dangling on a cliff by a single thread like that and I completely agree. How long will I have to wait to see this story concluded!?

This was my biggest issue with it too. They even showedEarth 42 on the screen in big letters when he got scanned and it still took absolutely forever for them to get to the reveal that he was there.Other than that though almost everything was perfect.March 2024 is soooooo far away.
Absolutely incredible. The visuals are somehow even better, and while I agree the ending went a bit too long before the to be continued, if that's the worst I can say I'm willing to consider it just about perfect.Everything from neuva York to the end was amazing besides maybe scarlet spider. The beginning was what was relatively rough.

Iguess the counter would be that the captain was always "fated" to die at that time, and if The Spot didn't show up something else would instead, but like, if the timeline is that flexible can't it just give the captain a heart attack?
