Oldbag winning a poll is one thing, but I barely even remember Cosmos existing. Maybe they were weak groups.

Same. I mean, I like Lana, I think I voted for her last time, but still.

I'd guess it's likely a combination of a) some people haven't played the later games in the series, and b) even if you have, Blackquill and Sholmes both have reasons people may be turned off by them (too edgy / too silly)

OT characters tend to be marginally more grounded than what came after. Especially AA1. I mostly prefer that over the super over-the-top characters.

It's weird. I definitely prefer grounded characters, and yet Sholmes is my favorite non-protagonist in the entire series. His brand of humor just resonates with me so perfectly I guess.

Well, Sherlock Holmes is meant to be a ridiculously over the top character, even in Doyle's works, so it translates well to Ace Attorney.

probably the weakest round 2 match?
yet all azuarc of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness

I like Lana a lot but yeah I couldn't vote her over Blackquill or Sholmes (or Oldbag)
