The more embarrassing thing to admit is I actually don't mind the sequel, at all. Like it is shockingly competent. My oldest watched that movie roughly 20 times during COVID quarantine and I'd actually say I'm nostalgic for it.Don't be embarrassed, the sequel is shockingly good. I honestly can't think of a more transformative jump in quality between franchise installments. Helps that they got Thurop Van Orman to direct it.
