Screen buzzes, cracks.

Arkangel placed just 0.01 score higher than The National Anthem for now, while USS Callisters gained a few points after late ratings, but not enough to change its placing. We're now on the halfway point of Series 4.
The episode follows Mia (Andrea Riseborough) fifteen years after she helped her friend Rob (Andrew Gower) cover up a hit-and-run death, as she commits several murders in order to cover up her past crimes. Meanwhile, Shazia (Kiran Sonia Sawar) is an insurance investigator who uses a "Recaller" that can project people's visual memories onto a screen. The writers were inspired by Nordic noir and by a similar memory technology in series one's "The Entire History of You".

Nice little dark-as-hell thriller though not really much going on beyond just seeing how depraved Mia can get as the episode goes on.
I've decided to put my fears behind me. I'm not going back.

I think there's a lot of potential for interesting and unique crime stories with the technology presented in the episode, but the story we ended up getting is blunt, stupid, and unpleasant to watch.
It's not so impossible!

It was my least favorite episode of the series largely for reasons mentioned by mcflubbin. I would have scored it a bit higher if not for the ending, which still annoys me just to think about.

Lol half the episodes are centered around technology where you can see other people's memories/experiences
azuarc wasn't even home. he was playing Magic the Gathering at his buddy's store, which is extremely easy to verify

I can't help but think of all the many ways Mia's downward spiral into murderous madness could've been prevented and it makes me upset to do so. Why did homeboy have a change of heart after fifteen flipping years? Why did she go along with the cover- up in the first place if she was so conflicted about it? Why couldn't she have convinced him of how stupid his anonymous letter idea was? Why couldn't Shazia have been a bit more clever with her attempted description? Why didn't she notice the guinea pig or even draw the line at smothering an innocent baby? It's all a bit contrived, but I kind of dig it in a dark way I suppose.
That girl is poison...
