i also got it for the first time two weeks ago. supposedly this variant is ridiculously contagious, so I expect it will happen to a lot of people.

Drink lots of water! I'm still feeling a bit of fatigue now two weeks later unfortunately

I got COVID for Christmas. Was also my first time. Also really sucked. I had fatigue and a cough for two weeks. No fever, thankfully.

Hope you get better soon!
Help control the pet population. Have your pets spayed or neutered!

Caught it for the first time the week before Thanksgiving. Was sick for 4-5 days, then had a lingering sore throat and cough for a couple of weeks. I also lost my taste for a week and couldn't taste my Thanksgiving dinner, which really sucked. Just glad that my mother didn't catch it from me.

Started my honeymoon with COVID a month ago. Only lasted a couple days, but the fever/chills combo was brutal.

I still haven't gotten it even after my wife did, knock on wood.

But I'm ok with that after seeing her with long covid, ridiculous that we couldn't do anything to her employer following it.

Yeah it broke my run in august.

Tried anything remotely strenuous?

I never felt fatigue but the moment i tried the slightest bit of exertion i felt like I'd been running for miles.

I had a get together with my basketball group on Saturday and someone else also has it, so that's probably where I got it... or I spread it to them

dang that's rough, but glad your mother didn't get it. Thankfully I live alone so I can isolate pretty easily

I've actually never had the flu, but yeah much different than a common cold. I'm glad I didn't get one of more intense variants

I walked 20 minutes to the doctor (I thought it was tonsillitis again but wanted to be sure) and have gone up and down the stairs a few times, but that's it

For me, my energy levels weren't an issue. I had a persistent headache, sinus congestion, and the worst to me was it was excruciatingly painful to swallow. It took awhile longer for my throat to recover than my head and nose

This topic reminded me I should get a booster, and went to get vaccinated today. Never had it either, or perhaps I've been asymptomatic. Here's hoping it stays that way...

It was different, definitely the weirdest cold I've ever had.
But I've had flus that were 1000% worse.

My fever has gone down and my throat has mostly recovered, but now I have the headache and sinus congestion. Energy levels are still fine
