But yeah, Diggs stopped trying in this last season and it was clear we weren't getting full effort out of him. Better to get some value out of this.

Hopefully we get some value out of this. We cut a lot of guys and need receiver depth.

4 of the 5 first round QBs drafted in 2021 were traded before their rookie deal was up. That class isn't going to be climbing the QB draft class rankings anytime soon.

Everyone is still chasing the 1983 and 2004 QB classes.

Wilson to Broncos for basically nothing. Jets get a 6th rounder and give a 7th rounder.

Man I knew this guy was going to bust hard but so hard he's only worth the difference between a 6th and 7th rounder is pretty amazing incompetence for the Jets.

I doubt anyone's trading up for Harrison and the top 3 will almost certainly draft QBs if they stay where they are, so you should be good on that count

  1. MHJ and then take a swing at Pratt later in the draft
  2. Maye and then Coleman in the second round
I think I've decided that Daniels success downfield was based way too much on the WRs

I really don't want the Pats to trade down. I am getting the suspicion that I will need to be talking myself into JJ McCarthy by the end of the night

Bowers is one of those guys I could see dropping to the end of the first round because he's not a "need" for most teams. He'd just be really nice to have.

Jets have gotten like zero production from TEs recently. Like, I wouldn't be mad if they got an OL because my standing rule remains "just draft offensive linemen jfc" but TE sorta is a need IMO.

Fair enough. I do think Burrows has had nice WRs in Cincy and I don't see that happening in NE in the near future. Daniels will be taking a lot of abuse behind NE's line as well. I think he can be a good pro! I just think I'd rather have MHJ at 3.
