Yeah I meanTo be fair, people said similar thing about Metroid Prime. Except in that case it was "sidescrolling platform gameplay" that was a staple of the series and how changing it to a FPS would be awful and ruin the series forever.

Running in a open environment like a boring open-world would be pretty bad
