I don't think Chai is a generic template main character at all. He's goofier than anyone else in the cast.His only real character trait was "dumb but determined." Idk, he just felt very flat to me, and it didn't help that I played it just after The Artful Escape, which also had a main character who both looked and felt extremely similar in everything except the robot arm. He was the goofiest in the cast, but also had the least actual story or character development
