Yeah, the last two votes are exactly why I didn't jump on the "THIS IS THE BEST NEW ERA SEASON" bandwagon.I was never on that bandwagon. In fact, I've been keeping it at fourth (my ranking being 45 > 42 > 41 > 46 > 44 > 43). At this point I don't see it moving up OR down before the end.
41 had a lot of problems, namely the cringy manufactured "guys" nonsense that really did NOT need to be a thing, the fact that the winner was nearly invisible in quite a few episodes, the hourglass, and the very existence of Shit, who is one of the most vile players ever and her fans are even worse.I find this analysis to be incredibly problematic. I'm not a fan of how the "guys" thing was handled (to be honest, if they hadn't even said anything and just dropped it, I probably never would have noticed) but to say that one moment in the premiere sunk the season is an insane overreaction.

The nickname is what I will always refer to her as going forward, as mild as it is.
As a Shan fan, admittedly I do find some of her fans to be incredibly obnoxious, especially in edgic (I'm sure they're worse on CTS; I don't even look at that cesspool anymore). But how is she "vile?" She's like, not even close to being in the top 200 worst people that have ever been on the show. And straight-up nicknaming her "Shit" is actually a vile thing to say.
Andy, thats way overboard, man. Were talking an alumni base that includes a pedophile, At least one rapist, a wife beater, and an anti-trans politician. Even if Shan is a scammer, shes nowhere near the worst ever.We all have that one person who we have a personal grudge against.
I mean, yeah, we've all got a handful of contestants that most fans like and we don't, and I can absolutely see the reasons why Shan can be too much for someone, but your hatred of her feels extremely disproportionate. She wasn't even in my bottom 5 before certain excrement went after me for my entirely valid dislike of her. I am tired of being bullied for having a very valid opinion by people who don't have a valid reason to hate for it.

I got excommunicated for NO REASON by a [expletive] moderator from a community I'd been in for longer than he had. Wouldn't you be bitter in my shoes, and associate that with Shit herself, especially after it happened twice?
I'm going to ask this as politely as possible: were you hated/excommunicated for a very standard level of not liking Shan...or was your reaction to Shan something similar to what we're seeing now?It was a very standard level. Like for RHAP, I was banned for "spreading misinformation" - when I was merely articulating things I'd heard. This was a very convenient excuse that made no sense to ban somebody for. For r/Survivor, it was simply me saying "Fuck Shan" - nothing more than that; it was after this that I started calling her "Shit" instead. That was just a week but I decided not to go back and I do not regret that decision. My mental health thanks me.
Also, where did all this "Q is a massive threat" thing come from? Two episodes ago they were all saying how they didn't respect Q after he tried to quit and they'd never vote for him, and now after being tribe pariah for that time, he's suddenly this huge threat to win. What happened there? This confused me as well. So many people said they'd never vote for him to win, and now... what?
And not a fan of how Kenzie was acting last night. Throwing a fit after the first time she wasn't in the on the vote isn't a good look. This honestly tracks with everything we've seen of Kenzie. Not that she's been outright nasty, but she's had this cliquey, mean girlish attitude and a bit of an air of entitlement. I'm not surprised she threw a temper tantrum for being left out of a vote, especially when that was the one person whose boot she very specifically wanted to be her move.

Someone whose attitude rubs people the wrong way, and she leaves FTC like Cassidy... which is who I'd say is who she reminds me of, just more of a mean girl and less of a narcissist, but still close enough.
I'd say this rules her out for 50. I can't imagine her playing again that soon after giving birth.Yeah, baby's due in September. So that's like six months before she'd have to pass a physical, and filming would be when the kid's like 9 months old. Can't imagine her wanting to go back on Survivor on that kind of timeline, and she wouldn't want to leave her firstborn home so soon.
Now that would've been funny had Venus played the idol and Kenzie went last week solely because Ben wrote the wrong name.Yeah, this is precisely why I thought he voted Kenzie. But instead it was because he's getting close to Reichenbach MedEvac turf. One big blindside of someone he's not expecting and he collapses, a psychosomatic reaction that worsens his existing symptoms.
lol MariaThis too. She's been a soulless gamebot the whole time.
This is the most interesting she's been all season.

There's absolutely no way tonight's boot is anyone other than Charlie or Maria.Unless one of them wins immunity, Maria gets 4 votes, Charlie gets 2, and the question will be whether or not Quitavius plays his idol on Maria.
This edit is awesome. Cutting back and forth between each of them saying the other is totally loyal, but they need to blindside the other. This kind of storytelling is phenomenal. And it makes me think neither of them wins immunity, for maximum thrill.

Is this going to be four in a row?And five total
And five total
This is worrying. Maria being safe means Q (with a cursed idol) is likely the target in her stead. And something tells me if Q plays the idol, Maria's gonna get cold feet and gun for one of the girls instead.Alternatively, Quitavius could slip at Tribal and Charlie and Ben could realize he has an idol, put their two votes on Liz, and the revote is 2-2 (Kenzie/Ben vs. Maria/Quitavius)... never mind. That would send Charlie home because Kenzie and Ben aren't just gonna draw rocks since Maria and Quitavius would both be immune.
It wasn't active so I don't count it.
