Agreeing with this. Maybe NSMBW makes it on in a Rushmore-setting, but as far as Mario-favorites go I would predict it to be the third-favorite Mario game on the Wii. That's largely why I'm cynical about it being on a Mario-Rushmore if it's #3 among Mario games on just the Wii.
Open to the case I guess -- Summoning Salt did cover the game before, so it's got some sense of community. We'll see.
