I mean I don't care if it's allowed or not but I'd definitely say The Hat Man is FIRMLY not a cryptid. It's a common part of people's sleep paralysis experiences.

I would say Bigfoot and Yeti, while they are completely different cryptids, in terms of Sculpting them in stone, they will look almost the same and that should probably be considered.

When I was like 10 I saw a shitty spooky TV show with low budget re-enactments of paranormal stories. The episode was about Mothman. They literally put a dude in a skintight black suit and gave him red goggles and big butterfly wings and that was the extent of it. Still scared the crap out of me

i became obsessed with the Mothman and when the shitty movie came out my dad rented it and it sucked. My dad still brings up the shitty Mothman movie to this day. It kind of ruined it for me

but then I played a SMT game and this guy showed up and I fell back in love

I can't deny Persona/SMT are part of the reason I voted for Mothman.

Think there'd be enough interest for an SMT Demon Rushmore? I'm curious what the other two would be after Jack Frost and Pixie. Probably Mara

What makes a cryptid a cryptid for me is the point of origin. Slender Man is a totally fictitious character from the start. Cryptids meanwhile have anecdotal sightings from multiple witnesses but they are hard to substantiate. That's what makes the difference for me.
