At this point I'd probably end up building him. My only Ice DPS is C3 Misha. And apparently Aventurine makes Yanqing's "don't get hit" mechanic work?

Misha is better than Yanqing.

The Yanqing issue isn't that he needs his buffs to work, it's that when everything does line up for him and he has his fully protected buffs, that's what brings him up to baseline q uality. He doesn't need all his buffs to be great, he needs all his buffs to be OK.

Yanqing isn't going to matter until a new set paves the way for him like it did for Himeko. That new set for Clara may actually be it.

Again honestly it may be gameplay! We don't know the numbers on the new set yet, but he has a high damage Ult and a follow-up attack so theoretically it will do a lot for him.

Also, Misha is 100% better than Yanqing. Misha is where Yanqing was before this patch, except his ceiling is way higher because all he wants is something that lets him inflict debuffs on hit (most probably a light cone), or abuse his breaking potential. The second he gets that he'll take off like a rocket because his traces give him an actually absurd amount of free EHR. He may never be SSS tier or anything but there's niches he can fill. IDK how Yanqing ever does anything unless we get a support that directly converts speed into damage multipliers.

If Jingliu didn't come out before Misha he'd have made a much bigger splash. He's still better than Jingliu for PF....though full follow-up attack investment Herta is better in PF than him by just a bit probably.

I don't think Misha is good at all in PF. Like at all at all, not even with maximum investment. Jingliu can and should do better than him, especially if the current trends hold where they throw fat adds in. What Misha is very good for is fights with low concentrations of enemies right now. His ult actually does absolutely ungodly damage if you can stack it up and he has eids (up to 770% damage vs one target and about 420% vs two). If anything he should perform decently in the upcoming gamemode that's meant to favor Hunt units for this reason. PF is his nightmare scenario.

Just E1, really. Nothing else helps him vs multiple dudes. Think of it as a sort of consolation prize that makes it so his scaling is better than 'literally Herta ult but with RNG' against big waves. Well if I did the story my Xueyi would be E6 already. March also E6, but Hanya is only like E3 I think. Not even sure what Id have replaced the 4*s with. Not like I have everyone maxed, but the ones I use and care about are all E6 now I think or extremely close

Oh also Realm of the Strange (triple cavern relics) is up.

I guess I'm still just farming the new domain for dps relics, idk. I want to beef up my followup units with better duke pieces but we're getting a new FUA set in 2.3 that I'll be farming like crazy for Clara and Jade so I dunno. And new FUA planars??? Come on.

People like Pela as a character just fine but that banner is not great if you have her maxed already. Sucks cause I kinda wanted to get myself a sustain but not with so little 4 star upside. Robin it is!

Jade seems neat but unfortunately we already have the perfect Quantum Erudition character

Not only this but I feel like the way to improve my roster at this point is Eidolons rather than new characters.

Trying to get Clara up to speed so I can use her and I realized I had a Sigonian planar ornament set with nearly perfect stats for her so I guess I'm going to try that for awhile so i dont have to farm other ones for her. Nonstandard for sure but I think it should still work, especially in PF parties

Triple disappointment has actually been a triple windfall for me. Got three speed boots for my main supports and crit damage for the two who want it (Bronya and Sparkle).

Sparkle is at 172.4% crit damage now

Starting to think I just can't kill the deer in the SU on hardest difficulty with the characters I have leveled. I've tried 8 times now with various team setups and blessing combinations and I either have the damage but not the sustain and the 3rd phase ult kills me in one shot OR I have enough sustain but don't have enough damage and the deer out heals me until enrage ramps i enough to overpower me.

Maybe I'll just give up on trying to full clear first time bonus regular SU for now and come back after I hopefully get Fu Xuan and level QQ or something.

I only have Himeko and Xueyi leveled with type advantage, and Dr. Ratio and Kafka for non-type.

Himeko doesn't do enough damage to the boss itself (though she destroys the saplings), and Xueyi is kind of hard to keep alive with Lynx (my only leveled cleanser) because she's Destruction (so Lynxs heal gives her aggro).

Kafka kind of necessitates I bring Black Swan to do enough damage but then I have trouble with the saplings by not bringing Pela. Dr. Ratio does enough damage to the boss even through resistance, but it just hasn't worked out.

I think my best shot is Ratio, Pela, Lynx, Fire TB with Preservation an the right combo of blessings but I've just not gotten the run yet.

Hmm, yeah thats tough. You could try Hunt with the blessing that refills your energy when you kill and enemy. If Himeko is killing the saplings consistently enough, the increase in Ults might be enough to up the damage, especially if you bring Pela for shred.

Hunt path, get The Doctor's Robe Curio and the 2 Resonance Formations that boost Resonance damage/buildup.

The characters barely matter at that point.

If you've done Gold and Gears and have the Erudition path unlocked that would help a lot. Guessing that's not the case though.

Otherwise yeah I agree on Himeko and try to get the broken 3* Hunt blessings. Make sure to try and kill the saplings that summon the fruit. Jingliu and Ruan Mei are also good-ish if you have either.

Qingque and Fu Xuan are very good in the fight yes.

Jingliu is better than good-ish. She absolutely shreds the deer with Hunt path. But Im assuming thats not an option here.

March and Path of Remembrance also trivialises the deer too. A lot of people tend not to bother with March but she's very good at cheesing Sim Universe in general.

You can also go Nihility path and let its resonance do all the work for you -- no DoT characters required. But you have Kafka so it's even better.
