I heavily disagree with both of those statements! Eupho is the only KyoAni show I truly love (though I respect the craft behind almost all of them), and the show only gets better and better as it goes.

Nichijou is a distant second.

I do however have no doubt that plenty of people enjoyed the show less after that reveal because they only cared about their ship being cannon and did not care about the actual show itself, a depressingly common occurrence, and one I have been guilty of myself. I was blowing SNAFU up in this very topic series as soon as I finished TOO, saying it was a 1/10 show!
