This should maybe be higher, but to be completely honest I was pretty bad at this (again, I'm not good at shooting games) and actually almost died.
getting barret's approval from this is one of the 3 minigames it turns out i still have to complete so you're not alone
but I'm probably thinking about some kind of lever/multiple paths through the tracks segment?
i think the part that was true to the original is it shows the party members you've not selected waiting at this bridge point for you to hit a switch, so it is a perfect place to do a party split here
