This was hard for me. I feel like I wanted stuff that wasn't just time loops (different thematically imo) and where the time travel is being witnessed through the eyes of the main characters.

How is "time travel" determined?

I'm gonna go to bat for T2 over Terminator 1 here. Aside from being the more popular movie, time travel feels much more relevant to the central theme of the film. Being able to change the future/the future is not written in stone may not be some unique insight, but T2 deals it with more than the original from what I recall.

I cant believe that nobody is voting for the Citizen Kane of all movies ever made after Citizen Kane, Time Cop starring Jean-Claude Van Damme in the most authentically accurate portrayal of a human being of all time.

And some people like that Brando guy? The Mt. Rushmore of actors would be Van Damme four times over.

Those three are locks...but the 4th I'll have to think about
I'd Rather Be A Savage Little Elephant, than be a big Bald Bull
"I claim one line in your sig" = TheKnightOfNee
i'll just shill for Your Name as a good 4th for anybody simply because you don't get anime movies that 1) aren't Miyazaki, and 2) aren't Dragon Ball, which can perform so well globally in the box office.

it's also just plain a really, really great movie with a time traveling romance that warms the heart and has a soundtrack to match. besides, i like the idea of a non American movie, hell a movie released in the current century, to be on the Mount Rushmore because so many of these options are old. they're great but variety is nice and the quality absolutely measures up.

Is there a movie of A Christmas Carol with time travel? I've only seen theatrical productions of it, but those moments were presented more as dreams and flashbacks Scrooge is passively witnessing than actually travelling back and forth in time...wasn't sure how that's presented elsewhere.

The big thing about Interstellar is that its quite unique in that its a time travel movie mainly concerned with travelling FORWARD in time. It has a very notable take on time travel.

Was it actually time travel in Interstellar? I thought it was just time dilation.
All the stars in the sky are waiting for you.
That is time travel! We are all time travelling right now at a rate of one second per second but also he does travel back at the end .

does its a wonderful life count as a pseudo time travel movie?

I don't think It's a Wonderful Life counts. It should definitely get a mention when we do a Multiverse Rushmore however.
