that did feel like a fluffy hype press release, but "Square Enix beat Nintendo in boxed game revenue for March and ended Nintendos 8 month #1 revenue streak" feels a little more substantive.
.........on further reflection, the 8 months being July through February, so FFXVI in June I guess? nothing else to break the Nintendo stranglehold in that time? I guess BG3 was mostly online and/or not as popular in Japan?
Also wondering if the "top game for March" includes pre-orders and February 29 sales or not.
