Timeline (all times are at 9pm Eastern US time (UTC-4) on the day specified):
April 17th - Nominations open, 5 unique nominations allowed with no limit to supports.
April 18th - Unique nominations raised to 10.
April 19th - ALL nominations AND supports stopped. 48 hours pause enacted to let people listen to everyone's top priority nominations over the weekend.
April 21st - Nominations and supports resume, unique nomination cap completely lifted. Go crazy!
April 27th - No more songs will lock past this point if the lock cap has not already been hit.
April 28th - Nominations close!

I'd be very temped by Battle for the Dream (or basically any Fukuyama song), or Mutual Fists/Collisions of Our Souls... or Lots of Lights or Bloodstained Philosophy or Spicy Brass Squad or Rebellions or Nervousness or... Basically talk to me because I won't support I Believe in You but there's a lot I'd think very carefully about

It has come to my attention that my Blissade/Egrigori link also includes Raphael at the end, so I'm... not sure if it was the same song that was nominated back in VGMC9? I wasn't here then, and the Drakengard 3 soundtrack has very obnoxious naming when it comes to songs transitioning from one to the other.

I think this was discussed last year and I was in the minority, but I'm still not really a fan of the nom freeze. I'd like it more if it was only a freeze on adding totally new nominations

uh i never make a topic until bracket cause otherwise the important bracket stuff isn't in the topic post lol

and also cause one during nominations would just attract people trying to skirt as close to rallying as they can without doing it

but if one is wanted then i won't complain about one existing right now!

I don't remember if this was here or in the discord, but I saw a comment about the version of Weight of the World I nominated when I wasn't able to really respond.

No it isn't actual French. It's supposed to be a fictional futuristic language that in this case--I believe--uses sounds common to modern French as a base. You can look up something like "Nier 'chaos' language" for a probably better explanation

Google Sheets seems to be trying its best to format some song titles as calendar dates rather than as strings which seems like it has the potential to cause a problem.

I'm assuming this has an easy fix but maybe I'm wrong.

Oh Rubia ended up making it, along with both Unfathomed Force and Merciless Savior? Not bad at all. I think almost everything I was rooting for at the end other than my HSR noms made it. I guess I wish Daughter of Hallownest made it but I'm already used to Hollow Knight disappointment in these.

Definitely better than I hoped considering I was sleeping through the end of noms, and I think this might have ended up as one of my better nomination periods.
