To be honest I'm probably going to stick to the SPA approach. It's what I usually work with and kind of approaching this project as a 'recreate my first coding project to relax and get back to enjoying coding' type of thing in addition to the wanting to make a fallback in case this place shuts down.
I'm reworking the screen loading on my cleanup pass so it should pretty much
feel
like a very fast static HTML site. The URL and history also update with every link so it avoids some of those SPA annoyances.
