They're obviously saving the stuff with Saki for the sequel anime, but I'll agree that not revealing it here greatly hurt the quality of this anime.
I still mostly enjoyed it (gave it an 8/10), but it wasn't amazing. Not sure if GBC will end up better or worse than that. GBC has some bad voice acting too, especially with Subaru. And some contrived scenes, like the
everlasting diner fight
in episode 5.
