All other things aside, Penix at 8 was an incredible reach.

This is worse than the Giants drafting Jones at 6 by a lot.

Let's not get carried away. Jones at 6 was absurd. Nobody else wanted him in the first round. Penix would've been drafted by somebody else in the first round if Atlanta didn't take him.

I like that the Packers got a solid lineman, though the brief mention of prior injury concerns was alarming. Hopefully he only replicates Bakhtiari in playing ability and not in injury frequency.

Bills trading down twice to teams who then took a WR with that pick when Bills lost Diggs is pretty funny. Even moreso when one of those teams was the Chiefs lol. You'd think they'd want to avoid ever trading down with them unless it was some crazy package.

I like the WR (Polk) the Pats ended up with in the second. Good hands and his highlights look like other teams are going to be really annoyed playing against him. Bummed that we missed Coleman and he went to Buffalo.
