It was just a good, solid case. It obviously isn't meant to be a super epic final case because the GAA games are structured to be a continuous duology, much more than the Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice trilogies. This was just a good halfway point case and the most expansive case in the first game. But because of that role, I also can't really rate it higher because there are more interesting non-final cases in the series IMO.
Looking at GAA1 separately, it doesn't seem like a strong game. But it's a fine setup for the entire story spanning 2 games and 10 cases.
