I didnt get to say it since the last topic filled up, but I blew the rest of my stash and got E1 Himeko and then E6 Topaz. Went from E2 to E6 failing only 1 coin flip. Gonna try to grab her LC before the banner leaves next. She already feels so strong I dont even feel like I need anybody to really help her. Her side of MoC 7-10 I think I 0 turned

2.2 beated. I liked it quite a bit.

Honestly, I probably irl lean more toward agreeing with Sunday philosophically, but yeah the whole lacking choice thing is always a big sticking point.

I kind of wish this patch was like, 25% longer and we got a bit more Robin and Firefly. Firefly kinda just comes back and hangs out with everyone and there's not really any emotional payoff to her death. Robin needed a bit more focus too, maybe have her more proactively debating Sunday and trying to get him to back down.

It felt too short and undercooked on the personal development front. Maybe they'll fix that in the next patch? Idk. Sparkle and the IPC stuff is obviously being saved for it, at least.

The overall plot was well done though and I liked how Misha was handled in particular.

The new Single target boss rush modes looks like it will be scoring bases on the number af actions, rather than Cycles.

Well I have no gem stash left but I won Topaz's Light Cone so at least I have that going for me

Herta now leveled and has... Decent relics, still need to finish her traces and LC leveling though. Then I can get started on Robin.

Ok I just used a support Robin with my Clara and Ratio for the weekly Scarabaz grinding and LOL it melted so hilariously fast.

Bugs popped instantly if Robins ult was going and then the big bug would lose 40-50% of it's life bar when Ratio attacked afterward.

That ult is nutty.

Wow grinding Traces is so much faster even with Topaz now. She gets so many turns in a row even without AoE she can one-turn a group of enemies. Still gotta improve her relics and grab that new planar set later or whatever and shes gonna be an absolute monster

I don't know if Huohuo's E1 is the most important in the game but it feels like it's up there. I'm basically deciding between pulling for that and Firefly.

Ever since they designed content around Aventurine, I've found myself needing to use Huohuo's skill more often. Don't think e1 is that useful

Houhous E1 is a nice QoL boost but I dont think its super necessary. Ive never had a problem without it, but it would be pretty nice in an SP hungry team.

Huohuo's E1 is nice but just that -- nice. It only ever matters if you're trying to 0 cycle. Otherwise don't bother, all the other limited sustains and most harmonies have much more pressing E1s.

Doing some Penacony sidequests. Just did the Tizocic one or however her name is spelled. Pretty good stuff. Mostly just trying to speed through stuff for more jades to get that sweet Topaz LC though.

I'm not sure how I feel about the update overall. It's good, but a step down from 2.0 and 2.1. I think you could've cut 1-2 hours from the plot and just made everything a lot tighter.

I'm not sure it's optimal for my account, but Harmony MC at least seems usable in MoC which is pretty cool. Also seems to be giving me motivation to invest more in my Xueyi who was always a character I wanted to use more than the meta dictated.

It's a bit unfortunate that good Break Effect units seem to be all over the map element-wise now though, which makes it seem a bit niche.

Luckily for me with Harmony MC, Xueyi was one of my first pulled 4 stars so I've had her built for quite awhile! Not building Harmony MC til after Robin though. Herta should be done aside from actually good relics (Instead of okay ones that she has now) within a day or two.

Yeah Xueyi won crazy big off Hatblazer. You can just build her (mostly) ATK/Crit/CritDmg now and she 'makes sense' as a character off it. Still needs a ton of eidolons to really pop off but if she's facing something Quantum weak she's going to absolutely melt fools.

Absolutely not. It's close enough to Quantum to be a push at best, so not worth the effort of refarming. Quantum also doesn't suck ass on everyone else so there is zero reason to farm the new set.

Ha, ok forget just "usable". Ended up using Harmony MC/Aventurine/Ruan Mei/Dr Ratio for side 2 of MoC 12 when I was really struggling with a lot of other comps. It did take 6 cycles (side 1 was 3-cycles with an Acheron team), but that's still better than I was able to manage with anything else. I was a bit unsure about the comp since I didn't know if I'd be able to keep enough debuffs up for Ratio, but it seemed to work well enough.

I hadn't tried mono-quantum Qingque yet admittedly which might have worked, but that surely would have been sketchy because Silver Wolf's weakness implant gets a bit overloaded with no actual quantum-weak enemies plus 2 elites per wave, and it would also make my Acheron team worse to have to steal Silver Wolf and Sparkle.

No. It was Gepard and Kafka with some relatively normal Elites to go along with them. I think one of the sides had the new Harmony robots or whatever the hell they were from the 2.2 story.

My Huohuo team is Jingliu hypercarry, and with Kafka not being weak to ice, I just wasnt dealing enough damage fast enough.

Topaz feels even nicer with her LC over the Herta Hunt LC, but now I dont really have anyone to give that LC to so it feels like a waste to have gotten it at all. Only other Hunt characters I even have are Dan and Sushang

Is Break Effect Welt a thing? I don't actually own him, but I'm approaching 300 pulls on the standard banner and am intrigued by the prospect of pairing him with Harmony MC and Ruan Mei.

Break Effect Welt IS a thing, as long as you make that his only purpose. The higher your Break Effect, the longer Quantum and Imaginary breaks last, so that with his Slow is really solid. Would be best to go all in on that, EHR, and speed, and really forgo the crit and attack stuff.

......Which actually doesn't sound like a bad idea, maybe I'll do that myself. Over half a year of trying to build Crit Welt has been suffering.

Got the full 80k on stage 2 of Pure Fiction. Herta, Topaz, Lynx and Himeko for first half and second half I got it done with Kafka, Jingliu, Xueyi and Ruan Mei. Only need to get 3 more stars (one for 3 and two for 4) to fully clear my first PF I think

MoC 36 stars get. Went with Kafka vs Kafka. Acheron 2 cycled the first half. But then Kafka felt pretty tanky. Barely got it with 21 cycles remaining.

If I wanna play a dps with Harmony MC,bdo I have to go for full break effect on the dps? Still not sure how that team works if you're not doing much damage while enemies still have toughness.

The core super break comp is clearly Ruan Mei/HMC/Gallager right now. The dps will have to be one with the right element. My question is how do you build that dps.

Maybe Break Effect Asta dps can finally be a thing :o
