In the end hiding it served to make scum seem weaker, and scum seeming weaker helped distort the town's perception of the game's balance.
I'd actually argue that the second person who talked about that argument gets major scum EV for it. Scum generally wouldn't be the first to say it, but they'd quickly respond to the first town who did.

Sure the alternatives at the time were Wallz and Knightz, but Red voted Kirby before that and seemed awfully casual about switching to MI.
