! It was from like 10 years ago, so none of this was in it, so this was a nice update.
I remember being struck by the fact that one of the competitors (who made it to the National Finals) didn't even realize until filming started that you could press "B" to rotate the pieces in the opposite direction, along with some other technique that everyone else was using. There was something so pure about that. There's no way that anyone could be a top competitor in any game anymore while playing so "sub-optimally."
