Thank you, everyone, for voting and discussing. This definitely wasn't B8's biggest topic series, but it sure was a topic series.

By far the biggest winner of the series was Microsoft Flight Simulator, which won three different systems. MGS, Crysis, and Half-Life tie for second place, showing up twice each, and everything else has only one win.

I kept forgetting to point this out but you never put Day 1 (NES) in.

makes sense considering it wasn't really part of the poll series and there weren't like, rules for it

like i just talked about like 10 games on it and didn't pick one specifically

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8hNT5C8rqc if i were to pick now it'd probably just be this ( Metal Slader Glory )
sure it was pretty deep into its lifespan, but it's still almost unbelievable an adventure game with animation and sound (well, it's mostly sfx that are impressive) like this was on the system (and without even needing to be a famicom disk system title)
FF8 is much more impressive than 7.
Existence. Existence is but shallow question with no answer. Buu make you chicken nuggies!
Yeah I voted FF8 that day

it still should've been gran turismo 2 though

Yes, my pick usually didn't win but it was cool to go back and check out games I hadn't played in forever that were really impressive for their time. Good contest idea.
azuarc wasn't even home. he was playing Magic the Gathering at his buddy's store, which is extremely easy to verify

I intended to go back and add it, but I never did.

N-Gage is Xanadu Next
I'd Rather Be A Savage Little Elephant, than be a big Bald Bull

being probably the best game on the system still doesn't make this true (a cursory look finally shows it had 3d racing games, several fpses, and even a faithful super monkey ball port, all of which seemingly also ran far better than it lol)
