What four webcomics are on the Webcomics Mount Rushmore?

Board 8

Penny Arcade
xkcd
Whomp
Saturday Morning Breakfast Cartoon

I'm open to switching the second two but first two are undeniable GOAT's in my mind, even if Penny Arcade's consistency over 25 years isn't necessarily there.

Webtoon I don't think categorically can just be considered webcomics. There are genuine webtoons that are the same kind of thing as the webcomics this topic is about, like say, My Giant Nerd Boyfriend, but webtoons also encompass a lot of what we would just call manga or manwha. Solo Leveling, Noblesse, Unordinary, Tower of God, God of High School, Lookism etc these are just genuine manwha, even if published independently online. Wouldn't be appropriate to think about them that way just because they originate on the web - actually published manga could just be considered that way these days too since they just get released online too, the only difference would be if they started recently enough to be published online at the time of chapter one....

I should probably check out that Lookism anime. The start of the webtoon is kind of more along the lines of a webcomic, and also really really awful. As it goes along, it becomes exceptional in its ability bounce between being be really bad and really good. It's astounding. I would go as far as to call it an S tier fighting manwha at times. I wonder how well the anime captures that.
