I remember getting a usb copy of another vn through a kickstarter campaign a solid 6+ years ago (Chuusotsu) or so and thinking it was a neat way to future-proof it to some degree, as disc drives were clearly already on the way out then. Regardless though, I have to admit I'm surprised the concept caught on.

I already have both of these installed with every single graphical mod and voiceover integration.

HELL I've got the fan made VN adapting the manga only Umineko chapters, this ain't shit to me lol.

Ahhh whatever, it's cool and they'll probably make at least a little money off of it.

Edit: OOF I went to the store page and was blasted with the Pachinko Umineko art, haven't seen that in a hot minute. And it's ON the USB stick, gross.

Ugh I'm totally gonna buy these just to display the boxes they come in aren't I......

This says Dual Language but I assume that just means you can swap to Japanese text, they never added voice acting into the official release of this over here, right?

I've been saying for 15 years PC games should have USB physical releases, even if in limited releases.

About darn time. Now have them in some games I want lol.

I tried to get Physical PC for as long as I could.....though my last two were Kingdoms of Amular and Doom 2016 lol

I got the Steins;Gate Physical Release back in like... 2011 or whenever it was. The very first official translation IIRC before it eventually made its way to Steam, etc.
