it's the highest rated film on LetterboxdPretty fitting that it also won our list!
Still sad I overlooked this but figured I would share my own ranking now that it's over; the numbers are their placement in my most recent all-time list
Whats your #1?

Glad I finally got around to these classics, the more I see from Kurosawa the more I think he's one of the best. This is only the third I've seen from Kurosawa after Rashomon and Seven Samurai, but absolutely agreed, the three I've seen have all been excellent. Ikiru is my least favorite of the three, but only because the other two are so damn good
I never use letterboxd so I'm surprised Harakiri is the highest-rated movie on there. I guess it just has the perfect balance of accessibility and artistry
This was a lot of fun to follow along! Very interesting list and I'm sorry I didn't have time to participate after seeing some of these write ups.Next up is Crime 2, I'll throw up the topic probably some time this weekend. After that I think is Inviso with "So Bad It's Good" movies (so the exact opposite of art films) but I'll open up discussion in the topic of who wants to host what; a lot of ideas were thrown out in the last topic but I don't know who all's committing to what
Who/what is next?
btw I've been keeping a list of my rankings for all the film lists I've participated in on B8, combined into one, so I thought I'd post that now if anyone is curious to see it:
