It's tempting to linger in this moment, while every possibility still exists. But unless collapsed by an observer, they will never be more than possibilities.

These are four outstanding games. BG3's definitely the weakest of the bunch, though. Elden Ring's my favorite. Metaphor and E33 might be in my top 10 JRPGs ever.

Havent played any of them. Im interested in all but BG3 but my backlogs already huge as is and Ive been spending most of my gaming time on FF14 for the past two years.

BG3 game of the decade level (I probably choose Rebirth in the end but it's between these)
Expedition 33 probably game of the year level
Elden Ring just seems extremely not for me so I will never play it
Metaphor seemed for me but I absolutely hate it
Born to bear and bring to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see

Metaphor > Clair Obscur > Elden Ring

haven't played BG3. Still making my way through Clair Obscur but I don't think it will pass Metaphor. Dropped Elden Ring after like 5 hours or so

Not played BG3. Metaphor was pretty good, the other three are great. However they are very different games and it's entirely possible someone could love one of them and bounce off the others.

I'm looking forward to Clair Obcur, but I can't get to it for awhile. No interest in Elden Ring.
