I'm most of the way to a 50/50 after failing to get Fugue earlier. Hoping I get Hyacine with that but if I have to pull beyond that so be it. I desperately need a second healer lol.

I'm going into the patch with 280 pulls...I might throw a pity Hyacine's way but I'm still deciding between her, THerta, and E1 Aglaea for this patch. I already have two limited sustains (Huohuo and Aventurine) but I have to use Gallagher with Castorice and I'm getting a little sick of his weaknesses in ST and multiwave situations. Tough call on which team to upgrade, but maybe I can get lucky and snag 2 and still save enough for Sunday rerun, idk.

Got Little Ica at around 70 pity. Did have to dip into the Starlight currency but I don't really mind throwing a lot into this and the previous banners since now nothing really interests me for a while.

I am a Fate/ fan but I can't say I have much interest in using Fate/ characters in Honkai Star Rail.
I didn't do guru this year but azuarc can be in my sig anyways.

Finally lucky (of sorts).

So I entered this at 60 pulls in towards the 50/50 thanks to trying and failnig for Fugue back during my anniversary run of Castorice+Acheron.

"Lost" to the 50/50 at 15 additional pulls to Seele but I legitimately wanted Seele, would have rolled on a Seele banner, and was actually worried that her being added to the 50/50 loss poll would actually make getting her harder if it meant no/fewer banners for her.

Then the very next 10-pull was Hyacine (so 12 pulls from Seele counting the 5 after her on the previous one.)

So far every 5* pull in my (still short but also like 6 months now so maybe not super short) has taken me 70+ pulls (I want to say soft pity at 75 actually) so I feel catching a break here was something I was due but I'm happy. Now to weigh maybe pulling Cipher later since this was painless or saving it all for 3.4. Probably 3.4 if Kafka gets a rerun on top of new characters.

If they dont add more 4*s these events are gonna have to gift standard 5*s for anyone to get something out of it. Ive only got 3 I believe who arent E6 so at least this event has one of them (Gallagher)

Oh no the new event wants Banana quest. Still have not done that shit lol. At least there's a skip I guess, but maybe I should bit the bullet, it's probably a decent amount of pulls still.

Tried the Hyacine trial, but it really just feels like a Castorice one. I can tell they work well together, but shes still probably good for other teams too

I think with her LC she probably is? She gets a lot better for a lot of teams with any vertical. I don't know the details but I saw a lot of people complaining about her not doing enough for Mydei at E0S0.

100 tickets and all Ive got to show for it is a stupid Blade and a ton of Mishas past E6. Got Hyacine, but I went from 313 tickets down to 193 doing so. Kitty better come home early

Realized that one thing I was missing about Castorice is that Gallagher gets so highly recommended specifically because his interaction with Tribbie is broken and I, uh, don't have Tribbie. That makes Hyacine a bigger upgrade than usual for me. So I decided to just go for it. Took 70 pulls but won 50/50 and the fat fuck is mine! See ya later, Gallaghator!

Now the real question: do I hope my luck holds and go for THerta too...

He heals when your team hits enemies with his Besotted debuff and Tribbie does a ton of FUAs, so between 2-3 support ults that's a free extra 24-36% newbud charge.

I'm using E1 Ruan Mei who is a really strong buffer but does not synergize with Gallagher at all

Well I gotta build Hyacine since I pulled for her. Speed and HP seem to be the main things she wants? She should be helpful even with non-HP losing DPS on my teams. Maybe Jingliu gets some increased value now? Not like Im gonna field Arlan or Blade lol

my ps5 is downloading the update at ps3 speeds

edit: even did a connection test which pegged the dl speed at 11mb/s so it should only take 45 mins

I took the team for a spin in PF, Kafka side, and went from barely cracking 30k with Gallagher and having to sweat his ult timings to ez 37k. I don't have her traces maxed or 4pc of the new set so, pretty solid improvement!

Ica taking out waves while you're still charging up the dragon is very funny

It takes a week or so for most new characters to get calibrated for relic suggestions.
