Going tomorrow. Dead Reckoning wasnt at level of Rogue Nation or Fallout for me, but I was probably overhyped for DR because I loved them so much... trying to temper hype expectations for this!

So this movie doubles down on some of the weird dialogue in the last movie, and basically deifies Ethan Hunt to a ridiculous degree to the point that it feels like Cruise feeding his own ego

But then he does deranged shit like the plane sequence and you can almost forgive him for that. The scuba sequence was so tense and looked great. I love how it didn't cut to anything else. Some of the references to past movies felt a little forced/cheesy. Otherwise good

Not sure. Has the same problems. I think the last one had a bit of a weak first half and this one does too.
