Felicia just happened from general gameplay. The other two I think I singled out because they could only marry Corrin so it left my options open for everyone else.

I think they ran out of time and then just threw in a skeleton from awakening. Since they likely wanted something like the wolf laguz.

I've played them all twice each, so 6 playthrough in total.

I wanna say....Rhajat once. Azura in another. Don't remember the other 4. I remember I wanted to do Scarlet once but then for reasons that didn't happen.

Not exactly a fan of the Fates cast lol.

I played this game like 6 times.

I know first time was Kaze and one time I married Forrest. Probably married Kaden in one of them. One time I played as the male and let my husband pick who I married. I don't remember who he picked, maybe Felicia?

ahh fates, the game where you can use the ds microphone to blow on your incestuous child bride after her shower.

I have played this more times than any other game, I've married basically every character. I don't think there's a single one that doesn't make me uncomfortable to go to the tree house after marriage, and I'm a sick freak.

There's something very funny about the localizers on this one trying to clean it all up, when just on a fundemental level this Fates is unavoidabley squicky even by Fire Emblem standards.

Like, Geneology has underage incest brides, but that game's setting and tone make it just feel like a fucked up but believable in universe reality. With this era of FE it's treated like it's supposed to be an incentive.

Yeah, that's the thing. In Genealogy it was the main villain's plan to use incest to bring back his evil god to rule the world. In Fates it was the main selling point ("Hey, you can marry your siblings!")

So, specifically, the incest in Geneaology is unwilling , the two in question were deceived as part of an evil plot. That's the difference. Fire Emblem has giggled and nudge-nudged about borderline incest in several entries but Geneaology was the only time it was really used as a dark plot point.

There's tons of potentially willing incest I'm FE4, it's just not first tier.
