I've only watched the first 2 episodes of Dandadan because I'm watching it on Toonami and they only got it two weeks ago but that first OP has a 11/10 chorus.

I think any series that hits it big will have their name naturally shortened anyway. No one calls it 'KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!' or 'Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World'.

I've only ever seen the anime, I remember liking it but no specifics. It was my first time ever being aware of an anime's LN title so it was extremely funny at the time and is stuck in my mind lol.

Finally caught up on the season's anime. Been behind from the beginning due to vacationing. Am watching Dandadan S2, Call of the Night S2, Dress-Up Darling S2, Grand Blue Dreaming S2, The Summer Hikaru Died, See You Tomorrow at the Food Court, Watanare, Silent Witch, and Ruri Rocks, as well as continuing Anne Shirley, Witch Watch, and Princession Orchestra. I also watched a bit of Bad Girl and CITY but don't plan to continue with either, though I might be in more of a mood for CITY eventually. Pretty good season overall.
Just killing time until the world ends.

Fuji and her raccoon dog alien dog are just the best. If it wasn't for Hanako-kun being the weird Japanese occult comedy schtick I need in my veins. Lord of Mysteries is nipping at raccoon dog's heels just barely. Freaking intense. Everything else is good solid stuff. I was worried about Leviathan, but I think Dylan and Alek are good enough fodder to keep me invested.

I mean, I like it more than Clevatess...I guess. Clevatess was the, "I think this is good, but I don't care anymore" kind of trash.

I'm really just with Leviathan for Dylan's chipperness. Everything is "fine." Alek getting a backbone is starting to interest me a bit more though. I'm all about characters these days. If a show doesn't have a character I find something in, I usually dump it.

Just finished marathoning a manga called Route End. It was recommended to me a long time ago as something to read if you liked Monster but it's taken me a while to get around to it. While the quality obviously isn't up to, you know, one of the greatest manga of all time , it was still a fascinating read. It takes extreme sharp turns in it's direction on multiple occasions that I didn't see coming at all, and has some pretty unforgettable moments. It's one of those cases where someone could tell me they hate it and I would totally understand, but I REALLY liked it. Very interesting series.

....Now that that's done, back to Yuri hunting.

Today's Dandadan was just lovely dumb comedy (which was the nice comedown from all the crazy the past few eps). But Sexy Granny Seiko had her hair down AND in a standard ponytail...jebus.

So I've been watching Haruhi and I powered through the Endless Eight in a sitting

I actually sort of respect that they had the gall to do that, and animate different shots of the same fuckin thing for 8 episodes lol

Like it's genuinely astonishing how little changes from episodes 3-7 of it. VERY slight changes, only enough to start to tease that even more will change but nope, it doesn't lmao
