The final stretch of this game is an abomination and totally turned me on this trilogy

Easily the weakest of the trilogy

The most standard battle system of the Xenosaga games puts it firmly worse than 1 and better than 2 in that aspect.

Plot wise, it had to wrap this hot mess sooner than they originally wanted. I know some people hate it, but in that lens I think it actually did a pretty admirable job.
